Cohutta WMA 
September 14th - 16th

Hunt deer, bear and hog with fellow TBG members in a beautiful mountainous setting above Ellijay.

Primitive camping; tents are perfect, trailers/campers questionable.  If you bring a trailer, you better have a hoss of a truck to get it up the mountain. 

Directions: Directions from Chatsworth: take hwy. 411 north to Eton, turn right at light and follow Holly Creek road 11.6 miles to the check station. TBG always camps up on top of Bald Mountain, turn uphill out of check station and take the left at the top and watch for the campground sign on your left.
 

Bring plenty of ice and water as it is a long ride back to town. Also it cost a couple of dollars a night to camp.
