Equipment Classes:
Primitive:
Bows must be of all natural materials - wood, bamboo, etc. Backing must also
be all natural material. Dacron strings allowed. Arrows must be wood, cane,
or other natural material. Feather fletching required.
Recurves and Longbows:
May contain man made materials. Elevated rest NOT ALLOWED, except simple
stick on, NON ADJUSTABLE type typical of bows of the late 60's, early 70's.
Arrows:
May include any material, fletched with feathers, and men's arrows must
weigh 450 grains. No minimum weight for other classes.
Directions:
Walking Tom is located between the town of
Gordon and Macon along Highway 57. Directional signs will lead you to the
site from Highway 57. Look for the TBG signs and follow them to the state
shoot.
